Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
CasinoPost.net covers the gambling industry. It does not open betting accounts, hold player balances or process deposits and withdrawals. Reading a story here does not create an account with a gambling company. This policy concerns the information handled by our publication, operated by Evren Elveren, rather than the separate services we report on.
Contacting the newsroom
When you send a message through our contact page, we receive your first name, last name, email address, message and submission time. These go into a private editorial inbox. We use them to answer enquiries, check possible corrections and keep track of follow-up. They do not become a public comment, and sending a message does not subscribe you to marketing.
The form also records a keyed hash derived from the connecting IP address to limit repeated submissions. That is not a stored plain-text IP address, although our hosting or security logs may hold the address separately. An administrator receives a new-message notification without the submitted message being copied into it.
Please leave casino passwords, payment-card details, account statements and identity documents out of an ordinary enquiry. We cannot settle a withdrawal dispute or change an operator's records. If a news tip needs supporting material, begin with a description and a public source where possible. Do not assume that an ordinary web form provides a confidential-source arrangement.
Opening pages, saving preferences
Our hosting infrastructure and Cloudflare process connection information to send you pages and protect the site. Requests can reveal an IP address, requested URL, time, browser details and security events. Cloudflare's performance beacon can supply loading measurements. These operational records are separate from the content of an enquiry.
Your browser stores the light or dark theme you choose. It also keeps a short list of article IDs and reading times so an article is not counted repeatedly within 30 minutes. The server receives the article ID for an aggregate counter; the counter does not build a named reader profile or store a visitor identifier. Old local reading entries are discarded on a later article read.
The contact form uses a session cookie. Cloudflare may use additional cookies for security checks, including remembering a completed verification. You can read about those cookies in Cloudflare's documentation. Browser site-data settings let you clear cookies and local storage. Doing so resets preferences, and blocking storage can stop forms or verification from working.
When a story leads elsewhere
A link to a regulator, company filing or gambling operator takes you to another organisation's service. Its privacy policy applies there. A remotely loaded image or other embedded resource can also send connection information to its host. CasinoPost does not receive access to a reader's betting account simply because an article links to that operator.
We do not sell contact messages or pass them to gambling companies for player recruitment. Hosting, email, security and backup providers handle information needed to run the publication. Authorised staff use our shared editorial administration to manage correspondence. Providers may process information in countries other than yours; Cloudflare, for example, operates an international network. Disclosure may also be necessary to meet a legal obligation, investigate misuse or address a legal claim.
How long a message remains
There is currently no automatic expiry timer on the editorial inbox. Messages can remain available for ongoing enquiries, complaints and later follow-up until removed. Logs held by infrastructure providers follow their retention arrangements. A backup can retain a restricted copy after removal from the active inbox until that backup is replaced or expires.
Where a legal basis is required, answering correspondence and maintaining a secure publication involve our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. Legal obligations may require particular records. Optional processing that requires consent must wait for that consent; it is not authorised merely by sending us an enquiry.
Ask about your information
Write to [email protected] with “CasinoPost privacy” in the subject and identify the correspondence concerned. Depending on applicable law, you can seek access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing, withdraw consent where relevant, and complain to a data-protection authority. We may need to verify that the information is yours. We will explain any lawful reason for retaining a record and respond within the applicable time limit.
Our publication addresses adults, and the contact form is not intended to collect children's details. A parent or guardian can ask us to review information a child submitted. We restrict inbox access and use HTTPS, but no online system is immune from loss or unauthorised access. Please report a suspected exposure without sending more sensitive material. Changes to these practices will be reflected here with a revised date.
